Testing Vimpress Plugin

Did you know that you can post to WordPress using Vim? It’s true! And it’s awesome. It’s also a heckuva lot faster than using the browser editor or a standalone blog client, for that matter, if you’re used to using Vim.

A Who in the What Now?

Ethel is a nickname given to me by my father when I was very young. The “orange” part is kind of an inside joke which I won’t be explaining here. Feel free to allow your imagination to run wild. It’s probably a lot less dirty than you think, though.

I’ll be covering a whole host of issues here. I’m a liberal Christian so expect to see a lot about God and a little about liberalism. I’m also a woman and a feminist so those issues will probably pop up from time to time as well. I’m working on getting in better shape and losing weight so there’s that. I also have a dog and crazy parents and a propensity for giving away too much information. I also like random stuff. Really…random…stuff. Yeah. I’m kinda weird.

Don’t be surprised if my foul mouth gets away from me from time to time. I really do try to keep things as clean as I can but if I’m feeling really passionate about something all bets are off.

I welcome all comments, complaints, debates and discussions as long as everyone attempts to remain somewhat civil. That said, I do reserve the right to delete whatever I feel needs deleting. I can only promise that I will be as consistent and fair as I can.
